It’s been a while since I wrote a blog post from the heart. I want to have a real heart to heart with my readers. A lot of people are going through emotional pain because they don’t feel valuable or valued. If that’s you, I want to let you know that you are valuable. You very valuable. You are valuable simply because you exist. There is no one else on this earth quite like you; not even your twin, if you have one.
WHY PEOPLE ARE HURTING
So many people are hurting because rather than believe in themselves, they determine their value by what other people believe about them. I use to be that way and I turned into an emotional wreck trying to please people that didn’t even value me. It left me deeply insecure and I felt unworthy. I didn’t know that I had the power within me to change those thoughts. I didn’t realise it was up to me change my own thoughts about my value.
HOW TO DISCOVER YOUR VALUE
So I began a journey of self-discovery. I experienced an aha moment and I realised the following
I don’t need to have long titles to be valuable.
I don’t need to be popular to be valuable.
I dont need to be dressed in the latest designers to be valuable.
I don’t need to earn a six figure salary to be valuable.
I don’t need to have millions of followers to be valuable.
I just needed to believe that my value comes from the inside of me and I am valuable because I exist. Once I had this epiphany, I didnt have to beat myself up trying to prove my value to myself or anyone. I accepted myself and my uniqueness and then I was able to see my value.
YOU ARE VALUABLE
So my dear reader, I don’t want you to feel that you have no value just because of how others perceive you. You are unique. You are special. You are one of a kind. I want you to dust yourself, walk tall and carry yourself with an assurance and confidence that you are indeed valuable because you are.
