Around mid-July of last year I received a call from a courteous lady called Uche while I was on holiday in London. She was a bride to be and she had been referred to me through Daba Ibaima from Zesty Juices. From speaking with my new client, I knew exactly the kind of wedding she wanted. She wanted a memorable Majestic, Rare and Classy Affair.
It was our job to execute a project plan, give advice on all things concerning the wedding party, find the best prices at discounted rates were possible and engage exceptional suppliers who have been tried and tested and would deliver superior customer service delivery on the wedding day.
Before the event, a meeting was scheduled with all the vendors at Bespoke Event Centre to go through our service of excellence code of conduct, including superior business etiquette, world class standards of delivery and proper communication with our client and her guests. It was important that this message was communicated to my vendors. We were all in it together. Thank God all the vendors came through for us.
The day arrived and everything was in place to host the couple and their guests. MC Damola in his charming way thoroughly entertained the newlweds and their guests. I had the opportunity of giving a welcome address with a touch of humour. Guests were served with all manner of delicacies and this included fancy cocktails and finger licking desserts. DJ Xtreme was able to match the music to the crowd and this led nicely to the after party. The party was lit. The couple were really satisfied and we received great feedback from guests too.
And on that note I would like to thank everyone involved in the success of the Ugochukwu’s wedding including Kolony Events (décor) Damola (MC) and Genwenna (Ushers). We couldn’t have pulled this off without the help of a wonderful team.
